Topic: Blockchain Cryptocurrency and You

Lester D. Eisner, Major General (USA Retired) is the Deputy Director of the Office of Economic Engagement at the University of South Carolina (USC). In that capacity he is working public –private partnership opportunities leveraging the University’s substantial academic strength in Condition Based Maintenance, Aerospace and Cyber. He joined the University of South Carolina in June 2014 after a distinguished 37 year career in both the Active Army and Army National Guard. MG Eisner (Ret) held key leadership and staff positions throughout his career to include serving with the Night Stalkers Special Operation Task Force and commanding at the Battalion and Brigade level. His culminating assignment was as the Deputy Adjutant General of the South Carolina National Guard where he had personnel management, training, equipping and infrastructure oversight of more than 12,000 soldiers and airmen in South Carolina and deployed around the world. MG Eisner (Ret) is a 5000 plus hour pilot in command, maintenance test pilot and instructor pilot, rated in multiple rotary and fixed wing aircraft, including the AH-64 Apache. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College.
